Susan Galvao has filed her nomination papers for Cambridge City Councillor, Ward 8.

Galvao, a Cambridge resident, is married and a mother of two. She is excited about running for office and hopes for an opportunity to represent the people’s wishes at council in the following years.

Galvao plans to launch aggressive action initiatives to ensure that Cambridge residents are getting the best representation possible.

If elected she plans to put forth initiatives such as improving transportation, encouraging effective water use practices, improving land use strategies, building stronger communities, pushing for incentives encouraging job creation, and most importantly conscientious use of our tax dollars.

Susan leads with an S.I.M.B.Y (start in my back yard) attitude which is represented by her grass roots approach to community issues.
